Hand Engraved Mountain Ring, a view from Westermoy, handmade with recycled sterling silver

The ring features a hand-engraved view of the Fairburn hills, which is a direct view from the Westermoy Jewellery workshop. The engraving has been lightly oxidized to bring out the intricate details and create a unique contrast. This oxidation process enhances the visual appeal of the design and gives it a distinctive look.

The ring’s face boasts a brush finish, which adds a subtle texture and provides an elegant backdrop for the engraved landscape. The remaining parts of the ring have been highly polished to create a striking contrast between the matte and glossy finishes. This combination of finishing techniques highlights the intricate engraving and adds visual interest to the piece.

The ring is crafted from recycled sterling silver, ensuring that the material is both eco-friendly and of high quality. Recycled silver is sourced from various industries, such as jewellery, photography, and electronics, and then refined for reuse in new products. By using recycled silver, this handmade ring supports sustainability efforts while maintaining the same properties as newly mined silver.
